Patrick Quaye
Dialysis nurse at Hillcrest General Hospital
- 🇬🇭 Tema, Greater Accra, Ghana
- 1979 to 2002
- English, Twi
I've been a nurse for 23 years, most of them in dialysis at Hillcrest General Hospital in Tema. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I watch every football match going.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
Areas of care
What gifts mean to Patrick: I'd put gifts toward a training course in palliative care.

You delivered my daughter in 1987 and held my hand the whole time. Truly.

A small gift is a big thank-you.
