Patrick Alvarado
Mentor in careers and nursing
- 🇺🇸 El Paso, Texas, United States
- Bamboo Foundation
- Since 2001
- English
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 1,300 people through Bamboo Foundation.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Patrick
If I mentored you, I hope you're still pushing yourself.
What gifts mean to Patrick: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
