Patrick A. Matthews
Teacher at Heritage Public School, loves history
- 🇬🇧 Edinburgh, Scotland, United Kingdom
- Since 1984
- English, French
I came to teaching late, after working as a bus driver, and 42 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 1,930 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Patrick
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

You taught me history in 2016 at Heritage Public School. I still remember the quiz night we nearly won Greetings from Cincinnati.
