I taught English literature and design and technology at Tuxtla Gutiérrez High School, Tuxtla Gutiérrez. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I had 600 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

What gifts mean to Patricia: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
