I've volunteered with Bakersfield Community Kitchen since 2015. I started on a Saturday morning "just to help out" and never left.
I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave. Small habits keep a team together.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
What gifts mean to Patricia: A gift would go toward supplies for our weekly sessions.
