I came to teaching late, after working as a radio technician, and 32 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I had 1,120 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Patrícia
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Patrícia: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
