Patricia E. Duarte
Master of welding, now teaching apprentices
- 🇺🇸 Houston, Texas, United States
- Old Baobab Works
- Since 2004
- English, Spanish
I've worked in welding since 2004. I learned from my mother and passed what I could on to 1,030 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I like to keep things simple and honest.
I'm still learning every day.

What gifts mean to Patricia: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
