Parvin Alam
Choir director and singer
- 🇧🇩 Dhaka, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- Dhaka Band
- Since 1982
- English
I play choir direction and brass band. I started in 1982 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 9 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I walk the dog by the river.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Parvin
I write my first song when I was 21. It was terrible and I still love it.
