I taught physical education at Kilimanjaro Grammar School in Pune from 1995 to 2003. Most days I taught the youngest children, and I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
Over the years I had 430 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
