I coached cricket at Saket Youth Club from 1981 to 2017. Most of my players were between 8 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
What gifts mean to Parvathi: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
