Parvathi F. Chettiar

Self-taught woodcarving artist

  • 🇮🇳 Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
  • Mumbai Print Workshop
  • 2018 to 2025
  • English, Malayalam
I work mostly in woodcarving, sometimes textiles. My first show was in 2018 at Mumbai Print Workshop, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog. Most of my work is inspired by my grandmother's kitchen. I walk the dog by the river. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
