Parker N. Ortiz
29 years teaching geography in Austin
- 🇺🇸 Austin, Texas, United States
- Austin Technical College
- 1981 to 2002
- English, Spanish
I came to teaching late, after working as a bus driver, and 21 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Parker
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
