Parker N. Avila

Environmental science teacher at Wollongong Public School, 2011 to 2021

  • 🇦🇺 Wollongong, New South Wales, Australia
  • Wollongong Public School
  • 2011 to 2021
  • English
I taught environmental science at Wollongong Public School in Wollongong from 2011 to 2021. Most days I taught Grade 8, and I learned every name in the first week. I coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.

More about Parker

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Parker: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
