For 17 years I was the history teacher at Tiruchirappalli Middle School. I taught the final-year class and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I ran the science fair after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I watch every football match going.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Pari
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Pari: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
