Papa Papa Amponsah
Coached hockey for 43 years in Takoradi
- 🇬🇭 Takoradi, Western, Ghana
- Takoradi Athletic Club
- Since 1983
- English, Twi, Spanish
For 43 years I've run the hockey program at Takoradi Athletic Club in Takoradi. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Papa
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
