Papa George Opoku
Shoemaking, done properly
- 🇬🇭 Madina, Greater Accra, Ghana
- The Madina Works
- Since 2013
- English, French
My trade is shoemaking. I opened my own shop in 2013 in Madina and I'm still there most mornings.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I try to remember everyone's name.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
