Paolo R. Tomas
36 years teaching Spanish in Manila
- 🇵🇭 Manila, Metro Manila, Philippines
- Manila Academy
- 1989 to 2014
- English, Filipino
For 25 years I was the Spanish teacher at Manila Academy. I taught Year 10 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I make terrible puns. Inside it, I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
More about Paolo
If you were in my Year 10 class, you probably remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.

What gifts mean to Paolo: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me Spanish in 2012 at Manila Academy. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
