Pankaj S. Malhotra
Master of blacksmithing, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇳 Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India
- The Lucknow Workshop
- 2016 to 2024
- English
I've worked in blacksmithing from 2016 to 2024. I learned from my grandfather and passed what I could on to 240 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I never rush a conversation.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Pankaj: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
