Pamela Vasquez
Environmental science teacher at Parkside High School, 2005 to 2022

For 17 years I was the environmental science teacher at Parkside High School. I taught Year 10 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I sing in a choir. Inside it, I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Pamela
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Pamela: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me environmental science in 2022 at Parkside High School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.

I'm a lawyer now and I honestly think it started in your classroom. Greetings from Entebbe.
