Paloma W. Sánchez
Teacher at Eastgate Technical College, loves chemistry
- 🇨🇴 Bogotá, Bogotá D.C., Colombia

I taught chemistry at Eastgate Technical College in Bogotá from 2007 to 2018. Most days I taught first-year students, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I had 310 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Paloma
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Paloma: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
