Paloma N. Maldonado

Leatherwork, done properly

  • 🇺🇸 Los Angeles, California, United States
  • Los Angeles Trades Guild
  • 2006 to 2016
  • English, Spanish
I've worked in leatherwork from 2006 to 2016. I learned from my aunt and passed what I could on to 260 apprentices. The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 21 years later for another job. Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

More about Paloma

Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to Paloma: Any gift will help me keep the workshop open for evening lessons.
