I've coached swimming at Thrissur Swimming Club since 1999. Most of my players were between 8 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch.
What gifts mean to Pallavi: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
