I've coached cycling at Bengaluru Sports Club since 1999. Most of my players were between 11 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I answer every email, even at midnight.
What gifts mean to Pallavi: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
