- Pretoria Orchid Boxing Gym
- 2007 to 2020
- English, Zulu
I coached hockey at Pretoria Orchid Boxing Gym from 2007 to 2020. Most of my players were between 12 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Palesa
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Palesa: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
