Palesa J. Venter
Cricket and fitness coach, Mthatha
- 🇿🇦 Mthatha, Eastern Cape, South Africa
- Since 1980
- English, Afrikaans
I've coached cricket at Mthatha Swimming Club since 1980. Most of my players were between 12 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I run most mornings.
More about Palesa
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Palesa: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
