Helping people break into first-generation students
- 🇿🇦 Stellenbosch, Western Cape, South Africa
- Stellenbosch Foundation
- Since 1992
- English, Afrikaans
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 1,840 people through Stellenbosch Foundation.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
Thank you for stopping by.
More about Palesa
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Palesa: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
