I'm a sculpture artist based in Pune. I've been making things since 1986 and I still get excited when a new batch of materials arrives. Most of my work is inspired by the river near my house. I bake for the whole street at New Year. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Padma: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
