Padma K. Sastry
Wrestling coach, Lincoln Youth Club
- 🇮🇳 Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
- Lincoln Youth Club
- 1984 to 1999
- English, Kannada
I coached wrestling at Lincoln Youth Club from 1984 to 1999. Most of my players were between 9 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I garden badly but happily.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Padma
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
