Padam Poudel
Master of welding, now teaching apprentices
- 🇳🇵 Kathmandu, Bagmati, Nepal
- The Kathmandu Trades Guild
- 1984 to 1999
- English
My trade is welding. I opened my own shop in 1984 in Kathmandu and I'm still there most mornings.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I take the work seriously, though not myself.
What gifts mean to Padam: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
