I've been a nurse for 22 years, most of them in palliative care at Hope Community Hospital in Üsküdar. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
I'm still learning every day.
