I taught music at İzmir Middle School in İzmir from 1984 to 2017. Most days I taught Grade 6, and I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Özlem
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

You taught me music in 2005 at İzmir Middle School. I still remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.
