Owen P. Wallace
Master of painting and decorating, now teaching apprentices
- 🇺🇸 Baton Rouge, Louisiana, United States
- Cedar Grove Workshop
- Since 1986
- English
My trade is painting and decorating. I opened my own shop in 1986 in Baton Rouge and I'm still there most mornings.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
More about Owen
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Owen: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
