Owen J. Stokes
Home economics and early years teacher, Birmingham
- 🇬🇧 Birmingham, England, United Kingdom

I taught home economics at Riverside Academy in Birmingham from 1981 to 2000. Most days I taught the youngest children, and my door was open at lunch.
Over the years I had 990 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Owen
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

You taught me home economics in 1982 at Riverside Academy. I still remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam.
