I taught music at Orlando Academy in Orlando from 2003 to 2023. Most days I taught Year 10, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I had 560 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Owen
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Owen: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
