Owen Carrillo
Geography and early years teacher, Riverside
- 🇺🇸 Riverside, California, United States
- Oakwood Girls' School
- 1980 to 2017
- English, French
Oakwood Girls' School was my second home. I taught geography there from 1980 to 2017, mostly Grade 4.
I coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Owen
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Owen: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
