I coached cricket at Mombasa Community Club from 2002 to 2021. Most of my players were between 8 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
More about Ouma
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
