Ouma Bakari
Software mentor, Nairobi
- 🇰🇪 Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya
- Nairobi Community Trust
- Since 1994
- English, Swahili
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 1,860 people through Nairobi Community Trust.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Ouma
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
