For 35 years I have been the biology teacher at Nairobi Grammar School. I teach Grade 6 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Otieno
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Otieno: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
