I've coached badminton at Nairobi Northside Athletic Club since 2005. Most of my players were between 8 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
