Otávio Mateus Mendes
Musician with Starlight Band
- 🇧🇷 Maringá, Paraná, Brazil
- Starlight Band
- 1988 to 1998
- Portuguese, French
I've played tabla from 1988 to 1998, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach.
I teach about 20 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I walk the dog by the river.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Otávio
I wrote my first song when I was 18. It was terrible and I still love it.
What gifts mean to Otávio: I'd put a gift toward recording a small album.
