I've been a nurse for 14 years, most of them in midwifery at Frangipani Regional Medical Center in Duque de Caxias. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
