Otávio Leonardo Andrade
Tiling for ten years in Rio de Janeiro
- 🇧🇷 Rio de Janeiro, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
- 1978 to 1988
- English
I've worked in tiling from 1978 to 1988. I learned from my grandfather and passed what I could on to 230 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I never rush a conversation.
More about Otávio
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Otávio: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
