32 years teaching history in Rio de Janeiro

- Rio de Janeiro Academy
- Since 1979

Rio de Janeiro Academy is my second home. I teach history there since 1979, mostly Grade 4.
Over the years I've had 940 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Otávio
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

You taught me history in 2005 at Rio de Janeiro Academy. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard Truly.
