Oshan Nuwan Jayawardena
Teacher at Dehiwala Academy, loves environmental science
- 🇱🇰 Dehiwala, Western, Sri Lanka
- Dehiwala Academy
- 1989 to 2018
- English
For 29 years I was the environmental science teacher at Dehiwala Academy. I taught Grade 8 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Oshan
If you were in my Grade 8 class, you probably remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
