Oshan Harsha Samarasinghe
Art and physics teacher, Negombo
- 🇱🇰 Negombo, Western, Sri Lanka
- Harmony Secondary School
- 1990 to 2017
- English, Sinhala
I taught art at Harmony Secondary School in Negombo from 1990 to 2017. Most days I taught primary school children, and my door was open at lunch.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Oshan
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Oshan: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
