Helping people break into first-generation students
- 🇱🇰 Colombo, Western, Sri Lanka
- Colombo Community Trust
- 1997 to 2016
- English, Sinhala
For 19 years I've mentored people in first-generation students and trades. Mostly it's coffee, honest feedback and a lot of listening.
I never turned anyone away.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Oshan: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
