Osamu Toru Ishida
Choir director and singer
- 🇯🇵 Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan
- Tokyo Mount Pleasant Band
- 1999 to 2023
- English
I play brass band and jazz. I started in 1999 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 6 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Osamu
If you ever danced at one of my shows, I hope it was a good night.

What gifts mean to Osamu: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
