Osamu Takeuchi

Physics teacher at Gateway Public School, Since 1982

I teach physics at Gateway Public School in Tokyo since 1982. Most days I teach Grade 11, and I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it. Over the years I've had 2,380 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

More about Osamu

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Osamu: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
