I taught English literature and Spanish at Fairview Grammar School, Makati. My door was open at lunch.
Over the years I had 250 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Orlando
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Orlando: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
