I've volunteered with Acacia Community Kitchen since 1980. I started on a Saturday morning "just to help out" and never left.
I'm not an expert in anything, I just show up. I walk the dog by the river.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Orlando
If you've ever been helped by one of our sessions, you're the reason we keep going.
What gifts mean to Orlando: I'd put a gift toward transport for our volunteers.
